I have broken down on the motorway. What should I do?
Leave at the next junction or services if you can. If you cannot, stop on the hard shoulder or in an emergency area, switch on your hazard lights, leave the vehicle by the left-hand doors and wait behind the barrier. Then call us. If you are stuck in a live lane and cannot get out safely, keep your seat belt on and call 999.
Can you recover a car that will not start or will not roll?
Yes. Our flatbed and heavy recovery trucks carry winches, so the car does not need to start or drive. Tell dispatch about lost keys, locked wheels or accident damage when you call, so we send the right truck.
Do you move vehicles outside the North West?
Yes. Vehicle transport is nationwide and fully insured, for dealerships and private buyers and sellers.
Do you pay cash for scrap cars?
No. Paying cash for scrap vehicles is against the law in England. We pay by bank transfer and handle the DVLA paperwork.
